about
My mother plants lots of flowers in her garden. When I was little, I used to envy my neighbor's dad, who would grow tomatoes in his garden. Produce. Productive. Useful. When I was little, I thought - what is the point of a garden if you can't eat what you grow?
Lately, I've been looking at flowers and birds more. Learning their names, feeling delight from them during all types of days. In this podcast episode, Sophie Yanow tells Andy J. Pizza that everyone should "have their own little garden" (a blog). I thought that sounded nice!
So, this is my garden, filled with flowers that I cannot eat.
